Friday Inspiration - Kerstin's altered bird house

Good morning!
Spring is just around the corner and a great way to welcome spring is this amazing bird house that Kerstin altered using the
Scraps of Darkness 'Botanique' kit!

She painted everything with a coat of DecoArt White Gesso and let it dry.  Then started altering by using some Decoupage glue
to apply a layer of old music paper and in a few areas she coated with Crackle white paste.
When everything was dry she applied a layer of DecoArt Media Antiquing cream 'Raw umber' into the cracks
The theme of the graphic 45 Natures sketch book was perfect for her bird house. She fussy cut a yellow flower, fern leaves, butterflies and the funny grasshopper
and glue it also to edge and as 3D (butterflies).
three small chipboards as roofing tiles
Thanks so much for stopping by!
